Thanks for the Mother’s Day wishes, Edie, Dru and Brandy! I hope all the moms out there had a fantastic Mother’s Day.
9 got up super early to make me breakfast and a latte, only he didn’t bother to wake me up…it was Mother’s Day, after all. So it was all cold by the time I woke up, but Dad came to the rescue…Burger King French Toast Sticks and taters and orange juice.
And a fresh latte when they returned.
9 and 13 went in together on 27 Dresses which I managed to watch in between all the loads of laundry and bouts of kitchen cleaning.
But here is a peek at the highlight of our weekend:

It sounds like you had a great weekend! And a new bed, good for you!
We had a quiet, relaxing weekend but still found time to work in the greenhouse, ready a new flower bed, weed the…okay, so maybe it wasn’t as restful as I thought it was. But we had a nice time.

I had a nice, quiet weekend for the most part. Did some gardening. Hung out with the dog and the daughter. It’s still frosting here at night, so I can’t plant my “soft” plants. Am waiting impatiently for Memorial Day…

Not everything on the list, but I got a lot done, and I’m raring to meet the week!
Sounds like they a nice weekend! Hubby cleaned our downstairs which was #1 on the list and I got to write. That was so nice.
He’s leaving today so it’s going to be a hectic week between trying to get to the halfway point of the book and doing all the kidlet stuff!

Did anyone else have trouble with the videos? This my first time uploading to YouTube (13 graciously let me use his account), so I want to make sure we’re not missing something.
Now, THAT’s a Mother’s Day present for a far-away Nana to cherish: my grandsons playing classical piano…phew! Tears of pride and love, of course, slipped out immediately, so I had to replay and replay. Have no doubt…I will be showing my own tech-recital for all my friends.
They were excellent!
