The sand for our pool arrived Thursday. The mason’s sand will be used to level the ground below the pool. We need to make sure everything is nice and even because our neighbor does not want 3,000 gallons of water flowing through his yard. Not sure why he’s against it, but whatever.

In the interest of quality control, the boys checked it out thoroughly.

9 had spent much of the afternoon constructing roadways for a city.

Every city needs an express tunnel.

Uh, oh! Cave-in.

Since the whole city thing wasn’t working out,
the boys decided to go to war:
Water Balloon War.
They built their forts.

Readied their ammunition,

Vanquished!

Even without the ocean, sometimes, it’s just a day at the beach.

Neighbors are just strange. Aren’t you glad we’re not among them? *g*
Looks like the boys had a great time, though!
The coolest thing about kids? They can have fun with just about anything!
now I know what you did with the sand. I love it. Glad the boys had fun and 9 is such a hoot.
OMGosh! Looks like a fabulous time! Boys are so funny! I, too, was curious about all that sand, thanks for clearing that up. I have no idea what your neighbors problem is! *G* Who would’t want water for their yard. *G*
Have a great day!
Great series of pictures!
Thanks, Amy! I’ll be looking for it.
This is exactly why kids need lots of unscheduled time in summer! What fun!
